About

Blair Hollis M.A. GCDF BCCC is a Board Certified Christian Counselor. His passion is to guide individuals through a process to realign their lives to one that is both hope-focused and purpose driven. His focus is on enabling individuals confronting life stressors to perfect a subjective awareness of "what" is getting in the way, "why" their value sets are their anchor, and "how" their distinctive inborn gifts are empowering agents meant to be expressed within their lives.

This requires a process of inquiry to find answers to deep seated questions about “why” intentional change is required for realignment so that they can live out a life that matters. The efficacy of this evidence-based approach offers individuals greater hope and the capacity to envision new pathways; all of which offer a newfound purpose in life.

Blair received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Religion from DePauw University, a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Liberty University concentrating on Couples Therapy using Dr. Everett Worthington's Hope-Focused Marriage Counseling Model. He also holds Certificates in both Addiction and Recovery and in Interpersonal Neurobiology and Depression.

His education, training and supervision using Adler Narrative constructs and in may be integrated within a Christian strengths-based approach realigning their life. Importantly, this perspective offers individuals an understanding of "why" change or adopting new life goals has meaning in their personal and professional lives sufficiently to awaken an inner sense of hopefulness.

His approach embraces the belief that each individual is drawn to the discovery of "who" they are and "how" to use their innate gifts in ways that impact the lives of others; in something that resembles a calling in life. This new attitude enhances motivation to adopt new habits, enriches relationships and their well-being, manifests a sense of wholeness, and a fosters pathway to a new way of living.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
