I specialize in individuals, adolescents, couples, and blended families, assisting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, life stresses and traumas.
I utilize 40 years of nursing experience in helping clients with coping skills and techniques. I approach therapy with Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and focus on a Strengths-based perspective and utilize Solution Focused Therapy.
Together we will be increasing communication skills, improving self-esteem and maintaining quality relationships.
I offer Group Classes dealing with trauma related to abusive relationships.
I offer Grief Support Groups and teach coping skills and tools to use in moving forward with your grief.
I am a Licensed Registered nurse in Kansas and Missouri. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), a member of the National Association for Social Workers (NASW), and a member of The Grief Support Network, GSN).
