About

For more than 20 years, I have been an advocate for communities, families, and people that have been victims of both historical and systematic oppression. I’ve worked with clients to overcome past and present trauma, manage unrealistic social expectations, and address harmful habits. I will help you examine old patterns and behaviors, create new choices, learn new coping skills, and find the pathways to achieving your highest and best good. My greatest joy is helping men, of all ages, discover their inner purpose and strength.

My approach to therapy draws upon a number of modalities to direct your healing, while understanding that all theories, techniques, and approaches do not fit every person. I look forward to working with you to design a clinical experience specifically catered to your mental wellness. At the core of this practice, I firmly believe that establishing a foundation of trust and respect is key to a healthy and authentic client therapist relationship.

My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. — 2 Corinthians 10:5

I believe that the way we think shapes our very understanding about who we are in Christ. By examining our thought processes and aligning them to what the word of God says, we can take our problems to God in faith that He will handle them with mercy and with grace.
