As a Christian psychotherapist, I am a wide range of clinical experience with a special focus on working with individuals and couples with depression, family difficulties, anxiety, and work-related problems.
I am a bilingual (English & Korean) seasoned professional with more than 19 years of experience working as a mental health professional.
I earned a Master of Arts degree in Gerontology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Master of Social Work degree from Dominican University in River Forest, IL.
I offer EMDR(Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy and a cognitive behavioral and/or spiritual approach in my work with individuals as they deal with difficulties, distress & concerns related to * Feelings of Hopelessness/Worthlessness * Childhood traumas * Anger management * Grief/loss unresolved * Parenting * Feelings of Guilt *Career Issues.
Also, I specialize in conducting cognitive impairment tests and evaluations for the elderly regarding decision-making capacity and advance directives such as the living will, medical power of attorney, and Do Not Resuscitate orders(DNR).
