About

Hello! I l would love to meet you, get to know you, and work together with you to move toward reaching your personal and spiritual goals. My specialties are marriage counseling, parent coaching, and support/direction for those seeking spiritual growth.

I have an MSW from the University of Chicago, an MA from Union Seminary of VA, and a BA in psychology from Bryn Mawr College; as well as over thirty-five years of professional experience working with people of all ages, (and a lot more years than that of trying my best to live as a follower of Jesus!)

I am currently trying to set myself up to again file for insurance. Meanwhile, my clients are paying by cash, or applying out-of-network benefits.

Let me know if you would be interested in joining a group for "Parents of Challenging Children" (what children aren't?), or for "Seekers of Spiritual Growth" which I will start up as soon as I have enough participants to make it a group!

I am the author of four books, three now on Amazon Kindle:
99 Soul Stretches: Devotionals from the Book of Acts.
Baby Dolls & Ninja Swords: 6 True Tales of Play Therapy.
Frozen Tears: 15 Stories of Blindness Before & Hope After Abortion.
Passion with Principle: How To Turn Romance into Lifelong Love
(soon to be published.)

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

I fell in love with this work when I was 19, tried to retire, but couldn't. Why? Because I felt an emptiness in not engaging in the mission God first sent me on so many years ago,
And the longer I have delved into the inner workings of my soul and the souls of my clients, the deeper has become my conviction that only the Love and the Truths of the Lord can set us free from our self-made prisons, and guide toward His loving will for us.
