About
“I feel hopeless.” “I'm not worthy.” “I'm too broken.” Do you find yourself being the "people-pleaser" putting others health before your own? These can be signs of trauma responses. As a trauma-focused therapist, I understand the impact that trauma can have on our day-to-day lives including our personal and professional relationships. I am especially familiar in working with survivors of childhood sexual assault and abuse. With training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I create a space where my clients can be seen, heard, and validated.
As a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate with the state of South Carolina, I practice from a cognitive behavioral therapy standpoint. I am passionate about working with survivors of sexual assault, childhood abuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I believe that there is hope in change and that it's never too late.
I've spent years struggling with my own depression and anxiety caused by generational trauma and have seen firsthand the positive impact of a therapeutic relationship, a non-judgmental, empathic environment, and treatment modalities such as TF-CBT and EMDR. We can make the changes you want to see in your life. You matter. Let's work together.
