About

I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health/addictions field and 14 years of experience working with adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology at Martin University and my Masters of Social Work at IUPUI. I am EMDR Certified and IFS (Internal Family Systems) trained.

I provide an atmosphere of privacy, safety, and acceptance. My passion is to help you work through past and current trauma (physical, sexual, emotional, mental, spiritual), addictions, and mental health obstacles that prevent true growth.

I am a married grandmother in a blended family of 7 children and 9 beautiful grandchildren. My husband and I love camping, hiking, fishing, board games and spending time with my2 cats.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

I was an atheist until the age of 26 when I was overcome with the joy of knowing Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I found myself struggling to understand what it all meant and had difficulty from my own baggage to fully receive the love of Christ. My own spiritual healing created a desire to help others find the same freedom. I have a real passion working with persons who believe they "don't fit into the church" or "are too damaged" for the church and persons who believe they have committed acts that have cost them the love of Christ. Church wounds can be devastating. I'd like to help you heal from those wounds.
