I have my Master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Argosy University and a Bachelor's degree from South Dakota State University.
I counsel individuals, couples and families as well as teenagers. I love what I do and I have been a therapist for 18 years. Counseling takes place in a lovely home setting as I want my clients to feel comfortable and not like they are in such a sterile environment. I really believe in the power of prayer and like to pray with my clients if they are okay with that! I have seen lots of lots of miracles and what seemed dire situations turn around! I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD and other trauma disorders, marriage counseling, multiple personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and many more specialties. Don't ever lose hope! I charge $70 for 1 hour sessions and $100 for 1.5 hours and $80 for couples counseling. I am also certified in EMDR which is for trauma recovery.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a therapist because many years ago I suffered as a victim of sexual assault. The therapy that I eventually sought from a Christian therapist saved my life! It was at that time I decided to go back and get my masters degree as a therapist. I think when you incorporate your faith and the power of prayer, you can heal from whatever it is you are going through and have a wonderful future!
