I am a board certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, who works with different types of population. I provide care for clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout and/or bereavement. I am also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has experience with working with caregivers that take care of children or young adults with autism. I attended Trinity International University in South Florida, which is a Christian university, and received my Masters in Counseling Psychology. I had the opportunity to learn how to be a counselor while including God and the scriptures in the process. I attended church since I was nine years old and I have seen the good and the bad. I have a passion to help individuals that may be going through a mental illness and/or unfortunately the church is not being as helpful as you need them to be. Or maybe you have been traumatized by church hurt. I am not here to judge or condemn any faith institution. I simply would like the chance to show others what I have come to believe, that it’s not about religion or legalism, it’s about a relationship with God.
