About

I am your RAWTHENTIC therapist, hope dealer, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I'm passionate about serving children, adolescence, adults, and their families to promote healing from physical, emotional, sexual, intergenerational, and racial traumas.

With 19 years of experience serving youth and families, 16 years providing direct service to neurodiverse populations (e.g., Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, Intellectual Disability, ADHD) and mental health struggles (e.g., PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder), and 7 years of experience working with marginalized communities with complex trauma (e.g., poverty, substance abuse, domestic violence, sexual trauma, oppression through immigration policies, incarceration, homelessness, grief/loss), I am dedicated to empowering others to create a purposeful life and to walk in who God called them to be.

Coming from lived experience of breaking generational patterns of abuse, addictions, and victim mindsets, I love helping clients explore their past traumas and generational patterns in their bloodline to allow for them to build their dreamed legacy in their family trees. As one who’s lived through abusive romantic relationships and built safety & love in all areas of my life, it brings me gratitude to help couples with high conflict that have a history of infidelity, domestic violence, addiction, cultural differences, and unaddressed traumas build a healthier relationship. As a neurodivergent therapist, I incorporate somatic practices, movement, dance, art, writing, and authentic processing to accomodate the different learning styles that people embody. As a survivor of sexual traumas (molestation, rapes, drug-induced assaults, coercion), it has been a beautiful part of my journey to be able to create solidarity and hold healing circles for fellow survivors.

In the words of Mother Teresa, “Spread love wherever you go”. Love is a core value that I get to live by every day. I find joy in being interconnected in my various roles as a wife, mother of 2 teenagers, eldest sister, community leader, and advocate. I am a believer of Jesus Christ who loves everyone. As a second generation Filipina, I come from a strong bloodline of perseverence. Being raised by parents and grandparents who immigrated from the Philippines to the Bay Area, I have lived through the hustle and grind culture of family members relentlessly fighting for the American Dream. As a resilient survivor of decades of physical, emotional, and sexual trauma from childhood to early adulthood, I have become a bold advocate to address these issues that impact marginalized people of color. I embody such gratitude in my lived experiences as it has led me to my purpose in helping others heal on their journey. It would be an honor to serve you on your path towards empowerment and healing.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

The power of Jesus Christ has healed, delivered, and set me free from the decades of trauma in my life. Because God loved and healed me, it brings me such joy to minster to people in their time of need. I want to be able to invite God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit into session to bring healing.
