About

Tania Fendel, Masters Level Therapist, Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) - Christian counseling specializing in relationships, trauma and substance abuse in Denver, CO.

You snap at the people you love. Your stress level is high, your fuse is short and the anger, guilt and sadness linger. You want to have your family get along; for everyone to be open-hearted and connected. The cold shoulder from your partner or kids is getting all too common. You try to do your best in everything and with everyone. But lately, you just get triggered. You've prayed for God to intervene, to help those you love to see you differently and to help you change. At times you doubt God cares or hears you.

My name is Tania. I am a counselor who is a Christian and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).

I understand that the Bible was written for the times and so it may be hard for you to get clarity on what experiencing God in the here and now looks like. My counseling style uses what we know about the amazingly complex and individual minds, hearts, souls and bodies God has given us. People who know me say I am thoughtful, creative, empathic, and have courage. That is the way I will show up for you. I help adults, teens and families in Denver, CO struggling with relationships, trauma and substance abuse heal and become more connected.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

Friends and clients say I am curious, creative and compassionate; that I care and am committed. I became a pastoral counselor during the process of getting an MA from Denver Seminary while working in a hospital. I saw people in a lot of pain who needed compassion, kindness and healing. My education in counseling, theology, and fine arts allows me to understand the ways your body, mind and spirit can interact.

Putting God in the equation empowers you with the love you need to overcome your blocks. Stop dwelling in anxiety or past trauma; instead lovingly detach and then rebuild healthy relationships with God, yourself and loved ones. Start knowing where you end and others begin.
