Sometime in everyone's life we face challenges and events that we just cant manage without some assistance. Wanda Burger has been helping people overcome events for mental health and substances since 2003.
Following a near death accident , caused by a drunk driver, she sustained a TBI. After a few years in physical recovery, and nothing short of a miracle, she ws able to return to college where she received a bachelors in Psychology, a minor in Spanish and a Masters of Science in Community Counseling. In 2004 she and her family relocated to her birth state of North Carolina. The healing hand of God continued and over the years she has become a dualy licensed supervisor LCMHCS and CCS specialiing in trauma and PTSD; a CCMC (Certified Military Counselor); A MAC *Masters Addiction Counselor), a SAP (substance Abuse Professional) where she assesses drivers for CDLs, an ACEP (Approved Continuing Education Provider) for NBCC (National Board of Certified Counselors) and NAADAC )National Association of Drg and Alcohol Counselors).
Youll find her during the week assisting clients with trauma , PTSD, Grief and more. On weekends she supervises others for Certifications and Licensed in both Mental Health and Substance fields. In the relcation from PA to NC, she transfered the secular PhD work to Faith Based and has a PhD . Her gratest jouy is helping people heal.
