About

AlphaMind believes that traditional mental health practices are extremely relevant for many types of client issues, however, Kimberly DAmico (LCMHC, EMDR II, CCMC), the founder of AlphaMind Brain Centers realized talk therapy wasn’t fully resolving all of her client’s issues. The traditional way was not helping things like sleep disruption, brain fog, intense anxiety, depression, behavioral mood shifts, and even ADD/ADHD. In addition, too many clients were on too many medications with toxic side effects and no lasting solutions.

So what is the Solution? What makes us Unique???

We use scientific tools and processes that diagnose the root of the problem that aims to take our clients not only to a place of normalcy, but to ultimate wellness in mind and spirit. In addition to CBT, we do QEEG (brain mapping) Neurofeedback, CES, Trauma Therapy, EMDR, HRV, Biofeedback,, AlphaTheta with Imagery/Meditation, and many more. We also have a Christian Based Family Therapy Intensive Program to restore the family into what God intended. See more on our website

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

Here at AlphaMind in Cary, NC, I believe in seeing and treating people as an integrated whole- we are mind and spirit. Therefore, there is not one treatment model that works for everyone. Everyone has their own unique experiences and belief systems that works best for them. Therefore, I strive to combine individual goals, preferences and healing paths that lead to permanent relief. Getting permanent results is what we are about.

That’s what makes us different here at AlphaMind Brain Centers. We know there is not one cure-all modality, and we know what works to uncover the root cause of your symptoms and treat them. Together, we discover how to restore both your mind and your spirit which is why a Christian based approach tied to science is so often seen as a means to this restoration.
