About

My goal in therapy is to inspire hope in people’s hearts and impact their healing process. I want to foster healthy relationships, encourage relationship reunification, and promote sobriety. I welcome opportunities for making a difference in people's lives by promoting their emotional and spiritual well-being, encouraging reconciliation through evidence based practices, and facilitating motivation for change and recovery. I want to provide clients the tools necessary for change with a focus on supporting and improving mental health and safety. I especially love working with women of all ages.

Dear clients, if you are ready to do the hard work of healing you are on your way to finding hope, your voice, your power, and your autonomy. With my help, you can begin a new life with strength, confidence & purpose. I specialize in helping women change their belief systems, thoughts, and behaviors, so they might experience growth and healing in all their relationships.

I am a credentialed trauma specialist, a credentialed grief and loss specialist, I have been trained and certified as a Brainspotting Therapist, and I am a certified drug and alcohol counselor. I love facilitating groups for grief healing, trauma healing, and working through addiction.

I graduated from Alliant International University with a Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from BIOLA University, Summa Cum Laude. I received two AA’s from Palomar Community College; Psychology & Social Services and Alcohol and Other Drug Studies; after which I became a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor, level 2 (CADC II) with the California Association of Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC).

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

I have worked in the field of counseling most of my life. I always wanted to provide a deeper experience for my clients, so I returned to school for my masters in therapy. I am a Christian first and foremost. Everything I do is from my Christian world view. Therefore, it is my privilege to provide therapy from the perspective of Christ's work with us.

God graciously uses my passion for His reconciling work as He provides opportunities for me to come alongside those experiencing crisis, trauma, abuse, addiction, loss and grief. Many of these people find themselves in fractured relationships, with broken hearts, a damaged view of self, and many times a distorted view of God. I enjoy helping them explore their need for God’s love and forgiveness that will transform their individual lives and restore their relationships.
