About
As a licensed Christian psychotherapist in Washington, New Hampshire, and Florida, I offer a compassionate and integrative approach to mental health grounded in both faith and science. My work draws from emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness, and the latest advances in neuroscience—tools I believe reflect the wisdom God built into our minds and bodies. As a certified clinical hypnotherapist, I use these principles to help individuals open their hearts and minds to Christ, fostering transformation from the inside out.
Central to my practice is the idea that we were created for connection. Healthy attachments -first with God, then with each other -form the foundation for healing and growth. When relationships are damaged, we experience anxiety, depression, shame, and a diminished sense of self-worth. I work with clients to repair these ruptures, believing that restored relationship with God naturally leads to healthier relationships with others. This is especially vital for parents, whose own example shapes the spiritual and emotional lives of their children.
Every person is deserving of wholeness, joy, and the freedom to enjoy all the gifts God has created. I am in-network with several insurance panels in WA, NH, and FL, and I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. If you’re seeking therapy that honors both your faith and your unique story, I invite you to reach out.
My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
As a Christian psychotherapist, I have always believed that true healing happens when psychology, neuroscience, and faith work together. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of walking with clients through seasons of loss, anxiety, trauma, and relationship struggles -helping them rediscover the steady, loving presence of God within and around them.
Through that work, I began creating resources that would allow people to continue their growth journey beyond the therapy room. These became The Connected Self Courses -Christ-centered programs that integrate emotional intelligence, brain science, and Biblical truth to help individuals grow in self-awareness, compassion, and healthy connection.
If you are seeking to deepen your relationship with God, strengthen your emotional health, and experience more peace in your relationships, you are warmly invited to explore the introductory course, Stop Losing Yourself in Relationships, theconnectedself.us/home or the foundational Connected Self Course at theconnectedself.us
.
My hope is simply that these tools meet you where you are, reminding you that transformation is possible - and that God’s grace reaches tenderly into every part of the healing process.
