Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
My journey into pastoral counseling began through witnessing the deep pain and brokenness within my own family. I saw my sister’s heart shatter after the loss of her 22-year-old son. I watched my mother grieve the unimaginable—losing her daughter, my sister, to suicide, leaving behind a husband and two young children. I’ve seen firsthand the devastation that addiction can bring to individuals and families alike.
These experiences opened my eyes to the silent suffering so many carry. But through it all, one truth has remained constant: while I may care deeply for those who are hurting, God loves them even more—beyond what we can comprehend. That truth is what called me to this work.
As a certified pastoral counselor, I walk alongside others in their pain, offering not just empathy and understanding, but the hope and healing that comes from faith. My mission is to remind every soul that they are not alone—and that there is always light, even in the darkest valleys.
