I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and received a Master's Degree in Human Development. I am a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and Addiction Specialist. My work experience includes working with the dual diagnosed population and mental health issues. I am also a Certified Domestic Violence Counselor with work experience facilitating Empowerment Groups, Anger Management Groups, and Parenting Groups. Counseling experience includes working with individuals, couples and families, Trauma/abuse, PTSD, Grief and Loss, Marital issues, Mental Health issues, Addictions, and Spiritual issues.
My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
I have been blessed and called to help others heal, become whole, and be set free from the works of the evil one with the help of the one True and Great Healer, Deliverer, Savior, Redeemer, Light of The World, and Lover of Our Souls: Jesus Christ. My walk with the Lord has been for over 25 years, and my life scripture tells me, "I can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens me". My business card says "HOPE" - a word the Lord gave to me directing both my personal and professional paths. As long as there is breath, there is HOPE in Christ Jesus, without whom we can do nothing, but with Him we can do ALL things. He is faithful. On Him we can Trust. Amen.
