Matt has a Bachelors degree in Theology and Psychology from Hardin Simmons University. He has a Masters Degree in Behavioral Science from The University of Houston Clear Lake. Since 1983, Matt Barnhill has worked as an adult, adolescent, family, and marriage therapist. His past experiences include working with Rapha Treatment Centers for ten years in adult and adolescent psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment centers. Matt also served as marriage and family therapist at Pasadena Christian Counseling Center for three years. He currently serves as the Pastor of Care Ministries at River Pointe Church and is the owner and clinical director of Barnhill & Associates Counseling Center.

Matt’s experience includes working with adults and adolescents dealing with a variety of issues including: marriage and family struggles, drug and alcohol addiction, sexual addiction, men’s issues, depression, divorce mediation and other life struggles. Julie Barnhill

Julie Barnhill

MA
Julie Barnhill joined Barnhill & Associates in 2014 after completing a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Liberty University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Abilene Christian University with a major in Elementary Education and a Specialization in Early Childhood. Julie has lead various groups such as divorce recovery, marriage retreats, and taught Bible classes in several churches. Julie sees children, adolescents, and adults (both single and married). She focuses on relationship issues, as well as, anxieties, depression, and adjustment concerns. Julie is passionate about marriage, family, and God’s best for each individual.
