Makenna Roehr
AMFT
Hello! I’m Makenna, a registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist. What I love most about being a therapist is witnessing people like you—once trapped beneath fear, trauma, and old patterns—experience freedom, the kind of freedom that comes through a moment of insight, a release of long-held pain, or a new way of relating that brings peace and connection. The honor of being a therapist is one I hold dearly. It is a privilege to partner with my clients on their journey into greater hope and wholeness.
I am passionate about coming alongside individuals, couples, and families who are struggling to cope in everyday life. You may feel stuck and overwhelmed in managing the issues you are facing or trapped in painful patterns, exhausted from trying to heal on your own. You don’t have to do it alone. I have experience in walking with individuals through relational stresses, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity formation. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and relationa
Christine Morris
AMFT
Hello, my name is Christine, and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. As the daughter of a veteran, my family and I were actively involved in supporting those who have served our country. Through this involvement and other forms of community service, I became aware of both the visible and invisible wounds that can result from life experiences. These encounters significantly shaped my formative years.
I became a therapist to help people build and develop skills that positively impact their lives and the lives of their families. I focus on setting boundaries, regulating emotions, and engaging in effective communication. It wasn’t until I was older that I truly understood the importance of these skills.
I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I also have experience working with women’s support groups dealing with chronic physical challenges, trauma, emotional processing and addiction.
In my current work, I utilize a relational

AMFT
I’m Juan Castro, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, born and raised in San Diego. I’m also a husband and father, roles that have deeply shaped how I understand relationships, resilience, and healing. It’s my privilege to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s ups and downs. Healing isn’t about erasing difficult moments—it’s about moving through them with strength, self-compassion, and hope.
I deeply believe in our innate capacity for growth and transformation. I’ve seen people move from hopelessness to rediscovering joy, from feeling stuck to embracing new possibilities—like a flower opening to the sun after a storm. I also know what it’s like to carry the weight of uncertainty, to feel the grip of anxiety, and to question what the future holds. I don’t just understand struggle from a clinical perspective—I’ve lived it. That lived experience has shaped not only who I am but also how I show up as a therapist: with empathy, authenticity, and

Mikayla Jones-Lewis
AMFT
Hi, I’m Mikayla. I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who believes deeply that healing happens in the context of safe, meaningful relationships. My heart is to create that kind of space for the individuals, couples, and families I serve.
My passion for this work is rooted in my own journey—navigating anxiety, family conflict, and major life transitions that stretched my sense of identity and belonging. Along the way, I had the honor during my graduate studies of supporting children, young adults, and their families as they worked through anxiety, conflict, depression, and behavioral challenges. These experiences, combined with my faith and the relationships that held space for me, showed me that restoration is possible and that emotional healing often begins when we are truly seen, heard, and understood. This is the kind of experience I hope to offer every client who sits with me.
My approach is relational and collaborative, blending Narrative, Solution-Focused, and Emoti
