Melissa Pazen
LCSW
I provide adult individuals and couples with collaborative counseling and coaching. If you are troubled by depression, anxiety, codependency, alcoholism/substance abuse or grief I can help make sense of what you feel and find your authentic self. My approach to therapy is evidence-based and holistic. I create a calm, relaxed, confidential environment that allows clients to engage quickly and maximize their improvement. I also work with clients who are on medication and help them to get the best benefit of their medication. I emphasize mindfulness and help clients learn skills to be in the moment rather than ruminating on the past or worrying about the future. As a faith-based adult with a delightful sense of humor and whimsy along with a high level of skill, clients report that it is a joy to work with me in therapy.
