About
I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Liberty University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Through specialized training, I use play therapy to help children communicate and process emotions in ways that feel natural and safe.
In addition to working with individuals, I lead specialized groups for women and tweens. These groups can be a meaningful way to receive support, especially for those who are unsure if one-on-one counseling is needed. I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach and have training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT). I am passionate about supporting children and women as they navigate challenges, heal, and grow, with the option to integrate faith into the counseling process.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
My path to becoming a Christian counselor has been shaped by both personal calling and experience. I have always been someone others turn to when they need to talk or work through challenges. One of the most defining moments was when I was asked to help lead a group through The Wounded Heart with Campus Outreach, a study centered on healing from sexual abuse. Walking with individuals through such tender experiences was an honor, but it also made me realize how much more effectively I could support others with the right training. That experience played a significant role in my decision to pursue counseling and to integrate my faith into the work I do today.
