Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
Brad is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counsleor in Minnesota (2455) & Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona (LPC-23033). He specializes in helping Christians navigate relationships and the challenges in marriage & family life. He also has a gift for blending psychology with spirituality to help address concerns with anxiety, stress, trauma, obsessions or compulsions.
Brad devotes plenty of his therapeutic work in helping people recover from relational trauma and impacts onto current relationships. He uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Parts Work Therapies including Internal Family Systems Therapy to help heal from traumatic memories or distressing relationships. Brad provides Emotionally Focused Therapy to help couples move from fight, flight, or freeze reactions back into connection. He has also completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Level 1 training in Relational Life Therapy.
Brad received his Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Prior to joining Strength & Healing Counseling, Brad worked with individuals, families, and couples in community counseling centers and in private practice. He is passionate about the emotional and spiritual health of the modern family, and he desires to help each individual move from surviving to thriving.
In addition to being a counselor, Brad is also a devoted husband, and loving father to three beautiful children. He has a passion for sports, reading an insightful book and taking his family on a new adventure outdoors.
