About

Laurin earned her masters degree in mental health counseling from Rollins College and has a background in a variety of therapeutic settings including schools, residential treatment, and equine therapy. Her areas of study include abuse, addiction, eating disorders, self harm, and teens exploring LGBTQ issues. Laurin has always found a niche in working with children, adolescents, and families and has a heart for helping those in crisis work through trauma toward healing and growth. She has witnessed and experienced the power of a redemptive therapeutic relationship that provides a safe space for individuals and families to move from brokenness to restoration and strength. Laurin adores helping people of all ages come home to themselves and be able to move forward less encumbered.
Laurin likes to employ a creative, client centered approach to therapy that focuses on relationship and meets the client where they are. Laurin also believes in the healing power of laughter and finding what brings you joy. Outside of work, Laurin loves spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, horses, music and doing mission work.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

Laurin Cash passionately enjoys connecting with God and people. Laurin thrives even through life’s most painful seasons because her life is built on her relationship with Jesus which allows her to love others from a place of wholeness that she has found in God’s redeeming love for her. It is because of her strong faith that Laurin has been able to overcome some of life’s most painful situations and she seeks to share that hope with people facing many kinds of trials. Laurin is passionate about seeing the value in others and building relationships that foster safety and trust where people feel at home being their most authentic self. Laurin has found her greatest joy in being a mother to three amazing children and in her role helping them navigate through the tough seasons of life and encountering unexpected trauma, loss and grief.
