About

Cassie is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual therapy for adults, teens, and children 5yo and up. She received a bachelors degree from the University of Arizona in Family Studies and Human Development, and went on to receive her masters degree in Counseling from Phoenix Seminary. Attending seminary allowed her the opportunity to take bible and theology courses, as well as learn about the integration of faith and counseling.

Cassie has a special heart for children and teens with a background in foster care and working with families going through various life changes and challenges. Cassie also loves working with adults who are facing challenges like addictions, addicted loved ones, codependency, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self harm, trauma, family of origin issues, and more. She uses a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of each client she sees including play therapy, attachment work, twelve step recovery principles, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and EMDR.

In addition to individual counseling, Cassie helps co-lead a DBT group for teens facing challenges in their life. She also teaches at a local community college, and seeks opportunities to guest speak at young adult groups and women's ministries where she can educate others on a biblical concept of mental health and suffering.

She has immediate openings and is in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, afternoons and evenings. Reach out today for a free phone consultation!

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

Throughout scripture we see God walking His people through much pain and suffering. He makes a way in the wilderness, He parts the seas, He calms the storms, He creates streams in the desert. As I walk through my own wilderness seasons, and walk alongside my clients in theirs, it has been the greatest blessing to see God weave together brokenness with beauty. I hope to create a space for you to sit, rest, weep, and rejoice, knowing God sits with us, as we journey towards wholeness and serenity.
