We are a State Certified Outpatient Mental Health Center with 9 licensed therapists and residents. With offices in Wausau, and Tomahawk Wisconsin. We also provide service to students in the Tomahawk, Merrill, and DC Everest schools We have provided Faith Based services for the past 40 years. Our caring counselors see clients of all ages and work with individuals, couples and families dependent on the issues that need to be addressed. Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I was raised in a Christian home but struggled with the church during my early adult years. After graduating from the University of Denver School of Social Work I worked in Child Protective Services and a Family Service Agency for 10 years. After some struggle I recommitted my life to Christ through of series of events felt led to start what became the Center for Human Development. I had never intended to start a large practice but other Christian Therapists were led to join me in reaching out to others in a counseling ministry.
