By combining faith with professional expertise, we are committed to fostering a safe, supportive environment that promotes emotional growth and overall healing. We proudly serve clients at four convenient locations: North Phoenix/Anthem (2) and North Scottsdale, Scottsdale Atrium.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

From a young age, I felt a deep calling to pursue a career in counseling, specifically as a Christian counselor. At just fourteen years old, I recognized that true healing encompasses not only mental and emotional well-being, but also physical and spiritual health. While I knew the importance of providing holistic care, it became clear to me that spiritual healing was an integral part of the therapeutic process.

As I advanced in my studies and professional journey, I remained committed to the belief that effective counseling should honor and incorporate spirituality without imposing any values onto clients. For me, it became evident that God must play a central role in the healing process. I am passionate about offering a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore and grow, and where their spiritual and emotional needs are treated with respect and care.

Jordyn’s drive and passion to work in counseling stems from her love of helping others. She has a desire to specialize and dive deep into trauma therapy with EMDR after experiencing it herself. She felt the life changing effects EMDR had which is the main reason she is where she is today. Her experience with the vicious cycle of physical and emotional abuse from a loved one left her feeling alone. Jordyn credits her fantastic counselor and God with bringing her out of such an extreme situation, finding the specialty she wanted to pursue, and the ability to conquer the impossible, which is where she is now.

She is a Licensed Associate Counselor who graduated with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Biblical emphasis at Grand Canyon University. She plans to continue her education by pursuing a doctorate to help as many lives as she can. Jordyn is working under the direct supervision of Tara Dorman, LPC, who is an approved Clinical Supervisor through the Arizona Board

She has a master’s degree in trauma-informed counseling and is a forever student of faith, health, and wellness. In her early years, she offered art classes at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and valley schools while serving as a milieu counselor to clients transitioning from the Arizona State Hospital.

She went on to study and teach at retreat centers in India and California until she became a mother. Following a season of deep loss, Tiffany shifted her focus to her personal relationship with Jesus, who set her free from the pain that had plagued her. The compassionate care she received in her church community and in grief counseling inspired her to answer her calling to return to the field.
