About

Welcome to the Christian Counseling Center of Scottsdale
Shaped by a biblical understanding of people, problems, and solutions

If you need help with depression, anxiety, addiction or are struggling to break free from and change unhealthy patterns and relationships, psychotherapy can be an effective treatment. We will work to understand what makes you unique and how your personal history affects you now. We'll work to identify existing qualities and strengths you have that provide resilience. The power of a caring and honest therapeutic relationship, combined with individually tailored treatment techniques, can assist you in making the changes you desire.

However, we also see the need to integrate psychological and spiritual issues in helping people to deal more effectively with life issues. We embrace a Biblical view of life and relationships and believe God’s Word provides clear and dependable guidelines for living. Through psycho-education, cognitive-behavioral interventions, or testing options, we provide information and develop strategies for change. We believe that it is God who ultimately completes the process of change and healing in response to prayer.

“And you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free”. John 8:32

PHILOSOPHY OF COUNSELING

Our role as counselors is to empower individuals by providing information, perspective, and prayer ministry, to facilitate growth and change in the individual’s life. We integrate psychological and spiritual approaches in helping people to deal more effectively with their life issues. We embrace a Biblical view of life and relationships. We believe God’s Word provides clear and dependable guidelines for living.

We believe that it is God who brings change and healing to an individual. It is the work of the counselor to encourage and pray for this process.
