About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Certified IFS Therapist, L3 trained by the IFS Institute. I have worked in several various clinical settings and treateda wide variety of symptoms successfully. I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, an evidence-based model that facilitates healing by helping clients cultivate Self-leadership--a core state of calm, curiosity, compassion, and clarity that enables compassionate engagement with fragmented inner 'parts' shaped by life experiences. Extensive research supports IFS for reducing symptoms of trauma, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Grief, and emotional dysregulation while enhancing self-compassion and internal coherence.

As a Christian clinician, I integrate this framework with somatic-based practices and with the reality of the indwelling Holy Spirit, who resides within both counselor and client as a source of wisdom, comfort, and guidance (John 14:17; 1 Corinthians 6:19). Rather than importing external spiritual elements, my practice prioritizes maintaining a therapeutic space that remains intentionally aligned with and inspired by this indwelling presence. This approach supports psychological safety and discernment, minimizing the risk that competing internal or external influences might exacerbate fragmentation or inner conflict--dynamics well-documented in systems-oriented therapies.

Clients and I collaborate to invite the Holy Spirit's co-leadership with us in the unburdening process, fostering deeper restoration toward wholeness. This aligns with the biblical vision of comprehensive human flourishing—spirit, soul, and body—where God desires full integration and freedom (1 Thessalonians 5:23; John 10:10). The result is often enhanced emotional regulation, spiritual clarity, and a renewed capacity for relational and purposeful living.
