Welcome! my name is Linda Rose, I am a licensed Clinical Counselor. I have a Masters in Mental Health Counseling, Personnel Services and Art Therapy from University of Louisville, LPCC/ATR . At my private practice I treat my clients using talk therapy, education, relaxation/mindfulness and art therapy techniques. Currently I serve all populations, individuals and couples, families, and treat anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, job stress, grief and loss, I specialize in recovery from toxic relationships, and women's issues. I am genuine, down to earth, empathetic and use a gentle touch. I am a Christian and consider it a blessing to be able to do this work.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I was born again in my early 20's and have loved being on the Journey to a closer relationship to God ever since. I pray everyday that God will speak to my clients through me in my private practice. I believe that living the biblical principles, having a right heart and walking in love to be the most important things to being happy. I also believe that God created counselors to walk beside their clients using any and all tools and skills they have been given, including faith, psychology, relaxation, mindfulness and art techniques. I encourage my clients to take the lead in therapy and will meet them wherever they are to gently help them rediscover their strengths. I love my job and try to create a safe and welcoming place to share your story.
