Lonetta Johns-Yarleque
AMFT
I am a clinician who views therapy as a gentle process of unlocking what has been stored within
the mind and soul, allowing clients—including those who are neurodivergent—to breathe again
and unburden themselves from past trauma.
Grounded in empathy, compassion, and cultural awareness as a biracial African American and
Mexican woman, I walk alongside my clients at their pace, honoring their history, identity, and
unique healing journey. I am trauma focused and want to look deep into my clients experiences.
With training in EMDR and a deep personal understanding of what it means to confront trauma, I
strive to be a supportive companion who embraces and affirms the unique experiences, while
helping clients face their pain, strengthen their relationships, and move toward meaningful
growth.
