About
Danette is a Licensed Therapist in Florida practicing for the past 20 years. She was secularly educated at Florida State University with a degree in clinical counseling. Danette began her career as secularly trained Therapist providing clinical mental health diagnoses and then treating these disorders based on science, research and the theories of human psychology. These traditional therapy methods are based on naturalistic explanations of care based on the science of medicine and psychology. Since growing her faith and own experiences with biblical principles, Danette approaches counseling sessions from the perspective of maintaining biblical authority as the foundation while using psychological insights as helpful tools. Danette has many years of experience in trauma focused therapy, family therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy for depression and anxiety. Danette knows that each client has different needs and special circumstances that bring them to seek therapy. She will work with each client to determine which practices will best suit the client regarding their needs and beliefs.
We offer in-person counseling and online counseling services within the state of Florida!
We accept FL Blue and BCBS of Florida insurance plans for therapy and counseling.
Inner Healing and Deliverance services are provided on a sliding scale or a small donation, if requested.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
Danette was raised in the Catholic faith since childhood. She was born again 12 years ago and began incorporating spiritual counseling with biblical scripture to guide people in true healing through Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. Danette has received training with Inner Healing and Deliverance practices through guided prayer to break strongholds, seek forgiveness and repentance and break generational curses.
