About
I enjoy working with individuals and couples of various ages and backgrounds. I have experience working with those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, men’s issues, life transitions, and relationship conflicts. While there are several different methods of therapy, I use an integrative approach by applying empirically supported treatment best suited for the needs of my clients.
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Illinois. I earned my Bachelors degree in Pastoral Studies at Moody Bible Institute and graduated from Moody Theological Seminary with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling. I am also a member of the Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association.
I also have experience in working with couples to help them navigate complex issues, better communication, and help build intimacy into the relationship. I have my level 1 and 2 training in Gottman Therapy. I often use the Gottman method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and other approaches to help couples strengthen or restore their relationship.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a Christian Professional Therapist because I’ve always felt called to serve within the local church and support others in their personal and spiritual growth. My passion lies in helping people navigate life’s challenges through the integration of mental health treatment and faith, guiding them toward healing, wholeness, and a deeper relationship with God.
