My clients tend to be kind and self-aware—some have tried therapy before, some are skeptical—but all are plagued by some deep-seated pain in their life. Common themes include: faith, sex, porn, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and past trauma.I am a good fit for people seeking a therapist to help them organize and untangle the issues they face without undermining their faith or values.
I consider this work to be pastoral and sacred and I approach it with a sense of humility. Rather than managing symptoms with "band-aid" solutions, we will seek out the emotional core of the problem. My approach pulls from frameworks including attachment theory, psychoanalytic theory, EMDR, and the enneagram. I've found each of these modalities to be deeply compatible with a Christian worldview.
I am trained in EMDR and certified in Prepare/Enrich couples therapy. I previously worked at La Vie Counseling Center, a Christian counseling center in Sierra Madre, CA. I am currently based in Toluca Lake / Burbank, CA.

***I am not in-network with any insurance providers. However, if you have a PPO plan we can submit a superbill on your behalf. Depending on your plan, they may reimburse a portion of each session once you have hit your deductible.
