Hi! I’m Sharon, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and EMDR Certified Therapist in IL. My training and experience has provided me the privilege of walking alongside children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in many different stages and seasons of life— from therapeutic day schools and inpatient addiction programs to supporting individuals through cross-cultural challenges, spiritual/religious trauma, grief, and major life transitions.

I find that many people come to therapy feeling stuck in survival mode— living with anxiety, consistently feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, experiences with emotional numbness, or feeling “stuck” in hopelessness. What I value most in this work is the privilege of hearing and honoring each person’s unique story. I practice from a holistic, trauma-informed approach that respects the brain-body-spirit connection, integrating evidence-based and mindfulness-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), B
