Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a therapist because I spent the first part of my life, although a passionate follower of Christ, not seeing relationship or emotional health in my family. The more I engaged with my own faith, the more I sought to understand how to marry my faith with emotional, mental, and relational health. I have found that Schema Therapy, the theory of counseling that I practice, very much aligns with the principles of Biblical faith and a life rich with peace and meaning.
