About
I am Dr. Felicia Spratt, Ed.D, LPC, a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 15 years of experience in behavioral health and counseling. I earned my Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in Community Care and Counseling, from Liberty University and my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling, from Palm Beach Atlantic University. My education and professional training have equipped me to support individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri, providing therapy services to adolescents, young adults, and adults. My clinical work focuses on helping individuals manage anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, family conflict, and behavioral challenges. I also have extensive experience working with youth and young adults navigating impulsivity, anger, family dysfunction, and high-risk or justice-related behaviors.
My therapy practice is grounded in creating a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to share their experiences and explore meaningful change. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), trauma-informed care, and family-focused interventions to help clients build coping skills, improve communication, and develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.
I currently provide virtual therapy services to clients, offering flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy individuals and families. My goal is to help clients gain clarity, build resilience, and take practical steps toward emotional wellness and lasting personal growth.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I became a professional Christian therapist because I felt a deep calling to serve others in their most vulnerable moments while honoring both faith and clinical excellence. Throughout my life and professional journey, I have seen how emotional pain, trauma, and life challenges can leave people feeling lost, overwhelmed, and disconnected, not only from others, but sometimes from their faith and sense of purpose. I knew I wanted to be someone who could walk alongside individuals during those difficult seasons, offering both compassionate care and practical guidance grounded in Christian values.
My faith has always been a central part of who I am, and it has shaped my belief that healing involves the whole person; mind, body, and spirit. I became a Christian therapist because I wanted to create a space where individuals could openly explore their struggles while also integrating their faith, prayer, and biblical principles into the healing process if they desire. I believe that God calls us to care for one another, to restore hope, and to help people recognize the strength and resilience He has placed within them.
Over the years, I have worked with individuals and families facing anxiety, trauma, grief, family conflict, and life transitions. I have witnessed how combining evidence-based therapy with faith-based encouragement can bring renewed hope, clarity, and direction. Being a Christian therapist allows me to support clients not only in managing their challenges but also in rediscovering their purpose, strengthening their faith, and moving forward with confidence.
Ultimately, I became a Christian therapist because I believe healing is both a professional responsibility and a spiritual calling. It is my honor to support individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, rebuild their strength, and experience growth that aligns with both their emotional well-being and their faith.
