About

"Hope for the Weary"
Welcome to Find Rest Counseling! We recognize that life is full of stressors, disappointments, challenges, and unforeseen difficulties. Our desire is to meet people where they are and walk along side them- using not only our counseling skills, but depending too on God to give us guidance and wisdom. We have experienced our own joys and struggles and pray that we can bring hope and healing to those we serve.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
Matthew 11:28-29

My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice

I (Kim) have walked with Jesus for over 40 years and have had a desire to work with Christians, not only in growing their faith through mentoring and bible study but also by bringing a spiritual aspect to my counseling practice-integrating a personal relationship with the Lord and traditional/holistic therapeutic interventions. God planted this seed over 30 years ago and has been faithful to provide Find Rest Counseling for this time. Our prayer is that God will be glorified and that He will empower us during each clinical session.
