About
Hi I am Rachel Moore owner and operator of Finding Ground Counseling. I am a board-certified pastoral counselor. My undergraduate degree from Nazarene Bible College is in Counseling, while my master's degree from Seminary is in Pastoral Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary. Additionally, I hold a master's degree in Forensic Psychology from Grand Canyon University. I am board certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the National Christian Counseling Association (NCCA). However, I am not state licensed. In my role as a pastoral counselor, Finding Ground Counseling offers biblical counsel to women, couples, and families. My website contains further information regarding my experiences and testimonials from previous clients. My counseling is Christ centered and I meet everyone where they are at the time God sends them to me.
Why I Became a Pastoral Therapist
I decided to pursue pastoral counseling because He is the solution to all matters. He supports us, created us, listens to us, and assists us. Without the Lord, there is no healing on physical, mental, or spiritual levels. Even with an educational foundation in psychology, I observe that many principles and aids of psychology are derived from Biblical teachings. Furthermore, I hold the belief that enhancing mental health is intrinsically linked to the enhancement of spiritual health.
