I have been happily married to the same person since 1978. Together we have six children. I have worked in ministry since 1981 and continue to do so today through an evangelization outreach called Catholic Life Ministries. I have a Masters of Theological Studies and a Doctorate of Ministry.
I also have a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy, with a clinical practice begun in 2016. I am well qualified to help you (and your spouse and/or family) to become who you want to be, who you can be in Christ Jesus. This is a non-profit clinical practice, an outreach of Catholic Life Ministries Northwest. I serve persons from all Christian faith denominations and those without any faith commitment. I do offer a sliding scale on a need basis.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
I began my professional career working in ministry within the Catholic Church. I worked first as a youth and young adult minister and later as an educator, spiritual director, and retreat presenter for a Catholic non-profit. Increasingly I was being asked by clergy to counsel couples, and I was simply not very good at it. I returned to school to get the training I needed to be effective in working with individuals and couples experiencing conflict and trauma. I became licensed as a marriage and family therapist and set up a private practice in West Seattle in 2016.
