About
Healing Wounds of the Heart with Love & Grace
I help women break free from old emotional patterns tied to childhood wounds so they can reclaim their authentic self & create a life rooted in joy, freedom, and abundance.
My Approach:
My work integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Expressive Arts Therapy, and principles from Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families (ACA), including the Loving Parent Guidebook
The expressive arts include journaling, poetry, visual art & creative expression (Bible journaling), music, and movement — to allow healing to move beyond words and access the deeper places of the heart.
Through IFS, we explore the protective “parts” of you that developed to manage emotional pain — the achiever, the inner critic, the perfectionist — as well as the parts that numb or self-medicate when distress feels overwhelming. Rather than shaming these patterns, we approach them with compassion so that you experience an unburdening and live life from a healed & whole place.
With over 25 years of experience across outpatient mental health, addiction treatment, inpatient psychiatric care, medical social work, and foster care, I bring both clinical expertise and compassionate presence to our work together.
Healing is possible. Freedom is possible. You do not have to walk this alone.
My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice
Integrating Christian Faith
I am currently offering inner healing sessions in my work with clients. This is not covered by insurance and the rate is $125 for 60-minute Heart Healing Session.
Inner healing is a prayer-based process in which individuals are invited to encounter Jesus in the midst of emotional wounds, painful memories, or places of distress. Through guided reflection and prayer, clients are supported in bringing these experiences into God’s presence, where truth and healing can unfold.
