About

I help those suffering from Eating Disorders,Trauma and Attachment.

God created us to be connected. Healthy attachments help us regulate our emotions to live a joyful and peaceful life. Sometimes, however, through life experiences, our ability to attach and connect with others in healthy ways gets disrupted. When we struggle to connect with people, we innately will find something to connect to, and sometimes we fill that connection with food. We can use food as a coping mechanism to address unresolved pain and fear, whether we restrict our food intake, force vomit, excessive exercise or eat so much that we are in physical pain.

I am trained in the EMDR and adult attachment therapies. I take an integrative therapeutic approach that helps us regulate our emotions and build our inner strength. Through therapy, I can help guide the repairing of negative emotions by the resetting of the autonomic nervous system based on the understanding of our internal information processing. As the adult attachment is repaired, we become more resilient and our inner strength is increased, allowing us to experience the fullness of living.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

As a Christian and a "pastor's kid", I know that even those with a strong faith, including pastors and their families, can struggle with anxiety and depression, and may encounter trauma even within the church itself. I have seen how life challenges produce feelings of anxiety and depression that can negatively impact one’s daily life, spiritual calling, and personal faith in God. My heart and passion is to provide a safe place of healing for Christians, church staff, pastors and pastor’s families; a confidential place of healing where faith will not be challenged, but rather encouraged.
