Dr. Peter Hansen, Licensed Psychologist, graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois and earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Ohio State University in 1995. He is warm, caring and non-judgmental, a good listener and very easy to talk to, with a good sense of humor that is always tempered by compassion. His own life experiences have helped him create a professional environment built on confidentiality, safety and trust. He combines his Biblical faith with-up-to-date research in the mental health fields to provide a balanced, well-grounded approach that can best be described as "CHRIST-CENTERED THERAPY". While results cannot be guaranteed, most clients obtain quick and lasting relief from problems that have plagued them for a long time. He works with adolescents and adults, as well as marriages. Clients overcome problems with depression, anxiety, stress, grief, issues surrounding sexuality and painful traumatic experiences in addition to other problems. He is happily married and has two adult children and enjoys singing, exercising and camping.
