About

Hope and Healing Counseling Center, LLC offers Christian counseling to adults diagnosed with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), partner betrayal trauma, physical and/or sexual abuse history, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, dependent personality disorder, grief and loss issues, and other issues. I provide individual counseling, Christian counseling, and trauma counseling.

I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT). I use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Gestalt Therapy.

I specialize in treating trauma/abuse survivors and through years of experience, I’m confident that no problem is too great for you to overcome. Through therapy, there is always a way to address the issues you face and learn new coping strategies to help you both right now and in the future.

I am licensed in Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, and South Carolina and I am authorized to provide telemental health in Florida.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

I believe it is important to meet clients where they are spiritually without shaming them or forcing my beliefs on them. It is important to read the Bible and go to church, and it is also important to understand that God created us for relationships and connection with other people. I provide a safe, judgement-free setting in which to discuss important, difficult topics and explore feelings while integrating your faith beliefs with empirically tested counseling techniques.
