About

Hope+Wellness is a therapy and counseling practice with a unique story. It was created based on our philosophy that hope can be found even in the most difficult seasons of life.

We believe that people need hope and resilience to set goals and affect change, to persevere in the face of life challenges and thrive. Our approach is simple — we provide exceptional psychotherapy and assessment services to empower people to live happier, healthier lives.

At Hope+Wellness, we provide kind, compassionate care to help you feel deeply seen and heard and to help you live at your highest capacity. We work with people across the lifespan — from kids to adults and couples — to support complete, lifelong wellbeing.

We provide Christian counseling, in which your faith is honored, seen, and incorporated as a foundation throughout treatment. We specialize in working with teens, young adults, and women with depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, adjustment and life transitions, relationship difficulties, trauma, and grief & loss. We also see many people who are experiencing concerns related to perfectionism, self esteem, identity, and challenges in reconnecting to meaning and purpose again.

We are an in-person and virtual mental health practice based in Washington DC and Northern Virginia, including Falls Church, Arlington, McLean, Vienna, Alexandria, and Reston, VA. As soon as you come to our practice, you will find a comfortable and calming environment that will put your mind at ease. We believe that practicing good wellness invites greater peace, focus, and balance.

We're honored that you are considering inviting us to be a part of your journey. It’s natural to have questions, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any. We're happy to help!

My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice

"But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." - Isaiah 40:31

I find it deeply fulfilling to walk alongside clients in various seasons of their lives as we work to help you find light through darkness together.

I specialize in working with children, teens, college students, young adults, and adults with depression, anxiety, relationship (romantic, friendship, family) stressors and concerns. Many of the clients I work with are going through a time of adjustment and transition such as a new job, relationship, school, or loss and the feelings of disconnection from others or oneself that come along with it.

My greatest intention is to create a safe space for you of stability, kindness, and understanding in times of stress and uncertainty -- you will feel safe to explore difficult places to help shed light in them and find a sense of relief and wholeness again. Therapy is a healing space where you are invited to grow in your understanding of yourself and to make sense of your life and journey.

I am a Johns Hopkins-trained, board certified licensed clinical psychologist with specialized expertise in the treatment of depression, anxiety, mood, stress, and life adjustment in teens, young adults, and adults. Many of the clients I work with are struggling to navigate difficult life stressors and periods of transition and adjustment.

Much of the focus of my work centers on providing support to people who are depressed, anxious, feeling hopeless, and in the process of developing their identity and figuring this whole life thing out. Many clients come to see me when they are struggling with life, self-worth, identity, relationships, and finding a sense of meaning and purpose through it all.

My Christian faith is the foundation of my life and calling as a clinician, individual, and entrepreneur. I incorporate faith into treatment so that it is not only effective but tailored specifically for you — to guide and uplift, to provide hope and a peace which transcends understanding
