About
I have worked with many individuals with a wide variety of issues such as difficulties making life transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, and dysfunctional relationships. Additionally, I have a passion for people who are wrestling with deep hurt and brokenness and need the hope of the gospel in their lives.
Most recently I have obtained board certification in Christian Sex Therapy. I welcome married clients who come with sexual concerns including issues of dysfunctions, physical pain, and differences in desire. I am also an ally to transgender widows, detransitioners, and desisters. There is currently no waiting list for new clients.
I obtained my Master's in Counseling degree at Covenant Seminary in 2003 and I am licensed to practice in North Dakota (since 2022) and Alabama (since 2010).
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
As a Christian my faith in Christ is the most vital aspect of who I am. As my client you can be assured that my counsel is governed by biblical principles and informed by the latest research. I will listen attentively and help you find the sources of your problems and learn new ways to live in the freedom that Christ promises us. I believe that there is tremendous strength when a person is able to tell their story in a way that is honoring to the Lord, and I am committed to guiding people toward truth and the freedom that follows. Our counseling relationship will be two Spirit-led individuals working in one direction: your goals.
