About
I am a LMHC in Florida. I have worked in outpatient and residential mental health with a degree from Northwestern University.
I have a background in psychoanalysis and integrative therapy with specialized training in TF-CBT, EMDR, CBT, and DBT. With experience in sexual trauma, domestic violence, grief, addiction, disrupted attachment, parent and child conflict, couples and family counseling, and difficult life transitions. I believe in a collaborative, faith centered, and strength-based approach to therapy, with high importance and attention given to all aspects of the human being through holistic care.
Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist
My decision to become a professional Christian therapist was driven by a deep passion and sense of calling that developed over more than ten years. This journey has always been closely aligned with my personal beliefs and values, which motivated me to pursue a career that integrates faith and mental health.
Throughout the years, I have provided counseling services within the Christian community and church settings. This natural progression led me to pursue a degree and licensure in mental health counseling, equipping me to offer holistic care that addresses the physical, spiritual, and mental aspects of the complex human experience.
My work with clients over the years has given me valuable insights through observation. These experiences indicate that a holistic approach—one that considers all facets of a person's well-being—can produce real and lasting change.
