About

Family therapist who sees children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. As a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and strategic feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. With sensitivity and compassion, I help clients find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues.

My passion is to reflect the ‘light of the world’ to each child, adolescent and adult who wish to improve their satisfaction as an individual or as a family member, husband, wife or grandparent. Blending conventional, faith-based and alternative approaches, I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. I work with clients to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

After working decades in different church staff roles, I was able to help establish the Oklahoma Drug Court which amounted to ‘community-based sentencing’ which allowed addicts to overcome their addictions without having to be taken away from their families. I became licensed (Ok LMFT # 848) about 20 years ago in order to be able to provide therapy for individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents in homes, communities, schools and my office. I now have an active ‘virtual’ or online service for the past year.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

After a number of years of serving as an Associate Pastor, I realized how difficult the counseling relationship could be for both the individual or family and their Pastor. I became a licensed therapist in order to be available to Pastors and their membership - especially for the more difficult or long-term counseling needs.
