About

Providing Mental Healthcare for Over 20 Years

Are you feeling stuck, continually repeating the same patterns over and over that lead to frustration, disconnection from others, guilt, and hopelessness? Therapy is so much more than symptom management. I provide a safe and supportive environment that focuses on helping you to challenge and change old patterns that leave you feeling defeated and stuck so you can begin to heal and thrive. I will help you build the skills necessary to empower you on the path to growth and healing. Whether you need support through a current challenge or are needing to address deeper problems I will be there to help.

I have an extensive background in working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in addiction, attachment disorders, family conflict, parent training to support with behavioral problems of children, intimacy and communication problems, trauma, anxiety disorders, autism, ADHD, and mood disorders.

Whether you are seeking support through a current crisis or seeking to develop a long-term partnership I will be there to help.

My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice

My faith is an important part of what helps me in my own journey of growth and an important base that grounds me. Since I was a child, I have always been drawn to the work of healing others. Helping others is an important way that I live my faith. My focus as a therapist is to support you on the journey of healing and allowing your faith to be utilized in the treatment as it makes sense and purpose for you.

My professional training is in somatic psychology. Simply put I always understood that people cannot be broken up into pieces. When I pursued my training in utilizing a holistic approach that focused on the body and spirit as much as the mind it was considered a radical approach to helping others. Scientific research has since validated this approach and in fact is now recommended as "best practices" for treating trauma, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and addiction.
