About

My ministry involves sharing the Word and the Love of Christ with hurting hearts. I come alongside people who are broken to shine a light on the pathway back to their First Love. I implement cognitive behavioral techniques along with prayer, meditation, and Bible reading to help clients find their source of healing.

I am a licensed clinical pastoral counselor. I am credentialed through the National Christian Counselors Association (License # 15270), and I minister through Experience Ministries.

My Undergraduate degree is from the University of South Florida in English Education. I have extensive graduate hours (USF) in communication and writing. Ultimately, my master's degree is in clinical and pastoral counseling with an emphasis on marriage and family as well as overcoming addiction.

Why I Became a Professional Christian Therapist

Prior to counseling, I was a teacher. While teaching, I found myself consistently staying after class, mentoring, counseling, listening to one student or a group of students. Colleagues confided in me; friends called for a listening ear. After a couple years, I knew the Lord was calling me into the counseling field. I investigated secular counseling and realized that I was being drawn toward a ministry rather than a career. I also needed to be able to share the Word along with clinical techniques.

At the same time, my daughter battled addiction. As I attended meetings with my daughter, I met many people with emotional, mental, and spiritual struggles. My heart hurt as I watched the courage and pain involved in the healing journey. I felt the Lord call me toward this ministry and I've never looked back.
