About

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate working with teens and adults around anxiety, relationship struggles, childhood trauma, and life stressors.

I work from a psychodynamic, depth-oriented approach, which means that in our therapy sessions, we won’t just address the issues that bring you in today - we’ll also explore the experiences and influences that have shaped your life up to this point. By looking at your childhood, past experiences, self-beliefs, and family dynamics, we’ll work together to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. I also offer EMDR and Christian counseling.

I offer sessions virtually and am currently accepting new clients. Reach out today to schedule a phone consultation to see if we'd be a good fit to work together!

My Christian Faith and My Professional Practice

I believe that we were designed for Eden and shalom, but each of us has experienced the heartache, brokenness, and trauma of living in a world where shalom has been shattered. We are no longer in Eden, and we feel the pain of it deeply. My hope is that counseling is a place where we can begin to understand our story and learn to hold both the beauty and brokenness of it. I hold onto hope that restoration is possible because of the work of Christ.

LMHCA
I studied Relational Psychodynamic and Narrative Focused Trauma Care at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology and The Allender Center. A psychodynamic approach to therapy considers how a client's childhood experiences can profoundly shape their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in adulthood. Sometimes our reactions to current situations are influenced by these past events.

Through psychodynamic therapy, we’ll explore your early experiences and family relationships to uncover patterns and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. This form of therapy aims to enhance self-awareness, encourage self-reflection, and promote self-examination, helping you to navigate your life with greater insight and understanding. As you begin to understand how your past experiences continue to affect your life today - through engrained patterns of relating to yourself and others - you’ll develop an awareness that fosters change and growth.

I am an in-network provider for Premera and Lifewise.
